Commented on the old article by accident - this article needs a correction - BitFreak has, indeed, launched his mini-blockchain idea into an altcoin (CryptoNite). So much for that example.

My best trade came from $SOL. Glad I picked up on the $SOL train early this year when it was worth $4 listening to crypto Admiral on Telegram. You can join his new channel; t,me/ admiraldefi
Have to say much of this may be valid arguments. but not for actual assets on a counterparty, dogeparty or clearwallet system. I would love to hear the arguments for assets issued on blockchain like proposed by Overstock.https://o.info/index.php/How_to_iss...
Interested to know your thoughts - to me Counterparty seems less like an altcoin competition and more like an investment in the bitcoin network (it is constructed from the bitcoin blockchain after all). Counterparty assets don't compete with bitcoin as a currency because they aren't a currency. Instead, they are digital assets (where you want many different types to exist). Just like physical collectibles.
