ALONE

I have a fairly large family for this time, four children and my husband; Two of my children are in college, another is in high school, and the youngest in elementary school. My husband is a teacher at a university near home, and I am a secretary of a well-known company in the city.

I always try to give my family my best, love, understanding, tolerance, I try to have my house very clean and finances always organized; I work from Monday to Friday with a schedule from eight in the morning to six in the afternoon, on Saturdays I do the accumulated housework and on Sundays I share time with my family.

One Sunday when I woke up I realized how alone I was, everything was in total silence, my husband was no longer by my side and my children no longer shared time with me.

I always find my husband in his office with the computer, and my children each with his cell phone, since technology became the most important thing in their lives. At home a word is no longer spoken and everything is calm, an inexplicable peace; That really is scarier than it seems. There is no family, technological devices consume all our time and in the end we only live in a virtual world. But in the real world we are completely alone.
